This file requires VBRUN300.DLL (Visual Basic Runtime). To find it, type VBRUN RUNTIME on the search form that comes up when you click the Software Search icon on the main menu of the Windows Forum. This program will NOT work with VBRUN100.DLL or VBRUN200.DLL.
FaxACheck allows the user to take check payments over the telephone. Now, if a customer calls and is unable to pay by Credit Card and you don't want to deal with the expense of C.O.D. orders, you can create a signatureless draft for immediate deposit to your bank account. Your customer need only provide his checking account information or fax you a copy of a check. This allows you to save your customer the time and expense of mailing you a check and you have your money as quickly as MasterCard or Visa and with no charges!
This package includes a MICR font in encoded form. Upon registering the MICR font will be decoded and you will have it available to use with your copy of FaxACheck. Also, when you register, you will receive a free MICR gauge so you can test the MICR line for correct placement.
Remember, printing your own checks is completely legal. Banks and would like you to believe otherwise, they make money selling preprinted checks and deposit slips. CheckMaster Corp sells MICR Toner and MICR fonts to stalwarts of the banking industry such as Chase Manhattan and Northern Trust.
